I have just bought a new computer with Windows 7 home premium 64 bit OS. This system has a NVIDIA GeForce 520GT ( 275.33 driver) digital output connected to a Samsung SyncMaster 2232BW monitor. Try as I might I cannot get the monitor's native resolution of 1680x1050 only 1024x768.
I checked with nvidia.com for an updated driver and found I already have the latest and greatest driver available. I also attempted to change the resolution using the NVIDIA Control Panel's change resolution function (it claims 1024x768 is the native resolution of my monitor), even trying to customize the resolution to no avail. I know the 520GT has the ability to output the 1680x1050 resolution I require and the monitor worked fine with VISTA home premium 32 bit.
Download Nvidia Control Panel Windows 7 32-bit
Thank you in advance Frank.

Sep 09, 2010 Portable VMware player. I was looking for the best way to carry my own VM everywhere, without the need to install anything (VMware Player), and so far I have found nothing available from VMware. I did found however exactly what I needed from an unofficial port of VirtualBox, Portable VirtualBox. VMWARE player uses various dlls, and registry entries and sytem drivers to create the virtual drivers within the VM Machine. I had tried to get it to be portable. But on startup it looks to start services and reads registry entries within the os to start the virtualization of the real drivers on the machine. Vmware.
Where is Nvidia control panel? Just went from XP 32 bit to 7 64 bit. I go to device manager and window says its the most up to date drivers. Am I supposed to get the drivers straight from nvidia after upgrading from XP to 7? I tried dloading the drivers I believed I need, but when I tried to install them it gave me a bunch of errors saying I dloaded the 32 bit version (wrong). I really dont know what Im supposed to do.
The Nvidia control panel is non-existant and I would like to get it back. Can someone tell me what driver I need? Win7 64 bit, Nvidia Geforce 7950GT video card. Ffmpeg installer windows.
