How do you contact Microsoft DIRECTLY! I just bought a computer and I am being told nearly everywhere and when I try to do almost anything I do not have access or I don't have permission even under the administrator account. There is some sort of lock on the OS and Microsoft needs to tell me how to unlock the OS so I can do what I want, be it right or wrong, it is my computer and I don't think they have any right to tell me I don't have permission or access! Yes I have registered the OS and turned on the administrator user account but still a lot of no access or permission, who do they think they are telling me that? It is my computer not theirs! If I want to screw it up that is my choice not theirs! So how do I contact them directly to fix this?

Nvidia control panel windows 7 32 bit. If you paid for Windows directly then support is available. However, if the copy of Windows came with the computer then contact whoever sold it to you for support, Microsoft doesn't provide free support in this situation.

To explore the options available to your specific situation, both free and paid, go to Alternatively if you post more about what you're trying to do and what happens when you make an attempt, you'll probably find someone here that is willing to assist. Hi versitalbear, It'll be much better to ask the person who sold you that computer. More chances that the computer was previously connected to a domain group that is why it may contain Group Policy Objects preventing you to access some programs. Hi, As they explained if the Computer came with Windows Installed on it then the System Maker which as OEM is responsible for the proper operation of BOTH the hardware and Windows. In those cases contact the System Maker. If you have specific issues start a new thread in the Answers Windows Forums for your version of Windows and we will try to help you resolve those issues. There are Microsoft Engineers and other employees, as well as experienced MVPs, and others here to help. I only finished downloading windows 10 today & EVERYTIME I've ask for help or info-I got little or no help. What I DID get were ads to buy something. This is frustrating & the reason I spend a lot of time playing FreeCell. I've found it helpful whenever I want to run amuck & throw my pc out the door. Looks like I'll be playing it ALOT more. Hi, The question asked in this thread was how to contact support direct. All but one of those 6 year old links still are active however it would not be surprising that some have changed in that period of time.

In windows 10 Mail you can't edit or ad new contacts to mail service directly. You need to login from web application such as Gmail, hotmail or other to add contacts on mail. If you want to edit one or more mail service to windows 10 here is the process. On Start, tap or click Mail. Swipe in from the right edge of the screen, then tap Settings. (If you're using a mouse, point to the bottom-right corner of the screen, move the mouse pointer up, then click Settings.).
Tap or click Accounts. Tap or click Add an account, choose the type of account you want to add, then follow the on-screen instructions. I guess this is why my contact list has disappeared from my Windows Live Mail! I can still type in and get address popup and lists.but can not revise my contacts anymore, etc. As far as Office 365.well.you can buy it.but try getting it loaded. Very disappointed, as I've used Microsoft on DOS for a lot of years.
Best platform was XP Pro.and Windows 07. Internet Explorer is turning into a poor browser nowadays as well.sigh. I do not need a thousand apps on my working computer.I need a computer that works well, at good speed and has great storage for files. I need an email program that is solid.
Business, It & Developer
I do a ton of volunteer work, and sit on National and Provincial Boards.this is plain frustrating. Plus, if you lose your computer (froze & ready to clean so to speak) or if you have a board fault.email becomes something that has no backup. I save a lot of stuff at my 2 servers now.just a hint for important email.
You can't save as to folders for it all! Darn.what good is gmail, Hotmail as my email program, when I have a what I thought was a semi-pro set up for an office? And business name email addresses! Thanks for letting me vent. I am old.but having been using computers since 1976.some of this is not an improvement to the basic and good quality of the computer as a working tool. Connectivity.nice.needed.but not at the cost of my base being impinged into idiocy. I think intuitive is a misnomer for all this.
Microsoft Account
You seem like you're in the same place I'm in except I've resisted buying the Office 360 despite all the unwanted and unpreventable ads for it from Microsoft that I keep getting when I activate my sleeping computer. Now I learn from you that even the overpriced Office 360 is not the answer to getting an address book the new Win 10 email client! I've spent much money on MS products over the years feeling like I had no better choice. Apparently, MS tech support is no help. I have experienced the same on an unrelated Win 10 bug.

Is MS purposely continuing their habit of making more disgruntled users each they foster a new OS on us? After this many years of MS's monopolization of the OS this is what we get; more frustration?
